Vila de Dornes

Ferreira do Zêzere is home to the “village” of Dornes, approximately 45 km from Ourém. They call it the Mythical Land of the Knights Templar, or the enchanted land, because at the top is the famous tower of the Knights Templar of Dornes and also because a small village resides there on the peninsula surrounded by the Zêzere River reservoir.
