Medieval Village Gallery (Former Ourém Town Hall building)

History

Until 1841, the Town Hall functioned here, when the county seat was transferred to Vila Nova de Ourém.

Today, this two-storey building, dating from the 15th century, houses the Medieval Village Gallery on the first floor, with individual and collective exhibitions of plastic and visual arts, and the Tourist Office. The second floor houses the headquarters of the Parish Council of N.ª Sr.ª das Misericórdias.
