Exhibition “Mulheres laureadas com o Prémio Sakharov”

Exhibition dedicated to women and the prize for freedom of thought and human rights. Awarded for the first time in 1988 to Nelson Mandela and Anatoli Marchenko, the Sakharov Prize for Freedom of Thought is the European Union’s (EU) highest tribute to human rights work. It recognizes individuals, groups and organizations that have made an exceptional contribution to defending freedom of thought. The exhibition consists of 11 panels with biographical information on the winners.
