Calçada da Carapita
Nature
About 150m from the town gates, you’ll find this medieval cobblestone path. This is a footpath that takes visitors to the ruins of the Convent of Santo António and stops at the Fonte dos Cavalos.
The Calçada da Carapita is said to have served as access to the medieval village for the retinues of D. Nuno Álvares Pereira and his grandson D. Afonso in the 15th century.
